Aruvi Tamil Movie Review

Aruvi is a journey of a girl from childhood to nature. The way that the movie flows through the joy and sorrow mixed with fear and fun is spectacular. Director Arun prabhu excelled in every aspect of film making and deserves more movies to showcase his talent.


Story: ( Not totally ) Aditi gopalan is a beautiful and wonderful actress. She takes you along with her and her experiences in a way that every audience get connected. It is almost a single man ( woman ) show.


The story starts with how the trailer starts explaining terrorist aruvi has hostages and her association to any organization is yet to be known. Most of the movie which you see in trailer happens in first 30 mins. Her story is shown as if narrated by her father from aruvi childhood  , her friend about college life  and another friend who stays with her through thick and thin till the end of movie.

Aruvi escapes from hospital after surrendering to police after that hostage incident. The movie ends in a light sense where she smiles after one of the hostages propose her.

Movie goes as natural it can go in terms of human emotions and even locations. BGM and songs are pleasant which flows with the story which makes the movie far away from regular movie.

Verdict: You will love the journey of Aruvi. Go watch it.

Mental Madhilo Movie Review

I am confused whether to watch mental madhilo or Balakrishnudu, then I just did a quick look at twitter and decided to go for Mental Madhilo

I am little confused whether to write this review or not, but I made a choice to go ahead and write by sitting for some time.

Have you ever been confused? How do you deal if it's small thing or life changing decision? I would love to hear them in comments.

Ok, back to the point the movie is about hero who gets confused when provided with options. That particular concept is shown simply and can make a connection with all the audience. He is also not comfortable in talking to girls, the movie is about how he marries the heroine. Then comes another girl and provides him an option. How he gets through the whole scenario is shown in sleek and superb manner instead of dragging it.

The movie flows like a pleasant river with nice music and cinematography. I am more in to mass so I got little bored in bits but it was a nice movie to watch this weekend.

Sree Vishnu is a very good actor who can ace any role and he proved it again with his performance in this movie. Nivetha Pethuraj as Swetcha is one perfect choice and I am unable to imagine anyone else and so is the second heroine.

Prashanth, the music director is to be watched out for his music and especially the rerecording.

Verdict: Go for it without confusion

Vunnadhi Okate Zindhagi Review

Movie is about love and friendship.Anything new? not much

How is the movie? Slow but flows sometimes smooth with laugh, love and friendship. Flow of the story can be expected and the screenplay is also usual. Looks colorful and beautiful but still slow.

Director and dialog writer focused too much on how a friend should be or behave.

Ram looks good, acts like he had done in his previous movies. Nothing special to mention about his role or acting. But did they skipped using Energetic Star in his title? GOOD

Sree Vishnu is little known but a wonderful actor. Go watch Prema Ishq Kadhal if you haven't. His caliber is not used to its extent but still he has been given equal importance according to story instead of stealing it for hero.

Priyadarshi, who doesn't want to see him? Even though he is under utilized in Spyder movie, he did a good role and shows his potential as a nice comedian. Did I mentioned that too without double meaning dialogues?

Anupama, some where I felt as if I am watching some serial actor in few scenes. Am I the only one?

Lavanya, short role but good and sweet. Kanuka ( I don't know her real name) has stolen the show from Lavanya with her jokes and accent.

Songs are not a huge plus but at the same time not so boring too. BGM is good and carries the feel.

Overall Verdict: Watch if you can bare with slow scenes for some other normal scenes. 

Spyder Movie Review

Movie starts with a regular note but not like a movie of superstar. Sadly it continued throughout the movie. The movie story has regular recipe of AR Murugadoss with a social message and hero trying to help the public. But it lacks the screenplay and punch dialogues. Mahesh recent interview had nice punches then the whole movie.


First half is gripping and goes smooth till the interval. Roller coaster fight may remind you our legendary Balakrishna. Once the second half starts, the movie takes a wrong turn and goes from average to below average which tests patience of audience from pre-climax. Heroine is used as glamour doll as usual and interrupts the flow of the story.

Telugu audience will miss the nativity and will not get connected to the scenes. Whoever is the fights master, he did a concrete breaking job. Harris jayaraj gave a wonderful job in background music and looks like his legacy in Tollywood is going to continue. (If you don't understand what I meant, check his previous telugu movies results)

SJ Surya needs a special mention. He enters late but steals the show with his acting.

Verdict: Mahesh babu needs to wait till his next movie for hit

Jai Lava Kusa Review

Bobby proved his strength taking a normal story and narrating it in an awesome way using the strengths of the actor. Each and every actor in the movie are perfect for the role they played.

No actor could have managed it other than NTR. He is and will be the most dedicated actor with talent in this generation. You will end up liking the Jai character more than Lava and Kusa. You will connect with the pain of the role and feel empathy for him instead of him being the Ravana.

Re-recording and music of the DSP is not up to the mark and that may be because of the instruments he use sounds same from his first movie.

Rashi khanna and Nivetha did their roles as per the character permits.. Even though the roles are small, they are not just used for songs.

The festival season will help and may join the league of 50C ;)

Verdict: Go watch it to enjoy the extra vaganza of NTR. 

Spyder Mahesh Babu Telugu Teaser

The trailer is stylish, lavish but not much gripping. Mahesh Babu is a hero who never disappoints with his performance in any movie irrespective of the movie result. The look of the villain resembles scare crow from famous DC comics Batman series. Dubbing is more irritating than spine chilling for villain. I wonder how many knew what blind date is? If the screenplay is as gripping as AR Murugadoss' previous movies like Kaththi, Thuppakki there will be no turning back for this movie with Mahesh's craze in Telugu and ARM's craze in Tamil. But I somehow feel it is going to be end up as 7th sense.
